You have made a financial and emotional investment in a living creature. It would be wise to take the best care possible to keep that investment alive. We are going to talk about what is fed and what should be fed and what shouldn’t be fed to your bird.
In the wild, birds of all types, have a vastly diverse diet. There is no one food for all bird. So I will begin to lay out positive and negative menus available to wild and domestic birds. Your pet bird may eat what you give it, but that doesn’t make it a wise choice. Birds develop similar health issues, high blood pressure, fatty tumors, cancer, and so very much of it is nutritional.
