“Cool. Parent showed up and fledgling flew off. Thanks again.”

I am getting a call every 5 minutes with the same situation. The babies are down and Finder wants me to take it. NO NO and NO. Rehydrating the babies is working. The parents need water too. Put out pans of water and keep filling them up. I am giving the same advise to all the callers. And it works!

For the people that are afraid to pick up the birds, lightly mist them with the hose, spraying them in the face until you see them swallow. Repeat every hour until the baby leaves.

Thank you for helping during this drought and heat wave.
