Today is the kick off for the American State Bank Grant Competition. The kick off is at 11am at the bank and every vote in the lobby counts for 3 votes. On line voting is one vote. So we have invited everyone we know for lunch, and voting. We are even going to take a few birds with us. Jim brought Poppy the cockatoo into the house (fortunately). Poppy can fly like an eagle!! I have the damaged blinds to prove it. So dear sweet Poppy is going to get clipped this morning and then can go to the bank with us. We need lots of votes to get the $5000, $3000 or $2000 grant. That would be the big bird free flight!! Whatever amount we get will be stretched to build the most elaborate flight possible.
