Today was fun. We, Jim, Jackie Smith, Melody Potter and I, went to American State Bank for the kick off lunch for their grant program. We brought Poppy the cockatoo, Alex the Alexandrine parakeet and Poco the pionus. We attracted a lot of attention and votes. This event runs through November 12th and any votes made in the bank lobby count for 3 votes and then one vote per day per person on line. It is an easy vote just open the banks website and click on Bird Tails.

We have a real chance to get one of these grants for $2000, $3000 or $5000. It is just for 501c3s in Weatherford Texas, but anyone, anywhere can vote online.
