Category: Falconry
Falconry is accomplished only by keeping your bird at his/her optimal hunting weight. This requires weighing the bird every day and adjusting his feeding to keep his weight where it belongs. A fat bird will not hunt and a skinny (weak) bird can’t hunt. The birds are only motivated by food, they are not pets and will never be your friend. They will just tolerate you in their life and it is very special to share that experience with a trained raptor.
