As often happens here, the phone rings and someone needs help. This time it was ARC, Animal Rescue Corp. 50 parrots were rescued in Memphis, Tennessee, “How many can you take?” So Friday, we got 6 more Senegal parrots and 2 red front amazons and 2 blue front amazons.
As often happens here, the phone rings and someone needs help. This time it was ARC, Animal Rescue Corp. 50 parrots were rescued in Memphis, Tennessee, “How many can you take?” So Friday, we got 6 more Senegal parrots and 2 red front amazons and 2 blue front amazons.
They are separated from the rest of the Sanctuary flock and will need to be tested for communicable diseases. Unfortunately there is no information with them. So we have no history or medical information. Sadly we don’t even have the names of the birds. Many times, as the parrots settle-in they tell me their names. So we will just have to be patient.
