PUT IT BACK! I seem to be saying that a dozen times a day! It does my heart good when some one actually listens. Mom Birds can do a much better job of raising their young than any human can. So I usually say find something like an Easter basket, put the baby bird in it, put the basket up in the general area where you found the bird, and walk away.
