This baby was brought to us last night. We used to rehab hawks and owls, but stopped a decade ago. The people that found the baby could not find a rehabber to take it, it was 8:30 PM and they thought the bird was hurt.
It was probably pushed out of the nest. It is a baby but has not flight feathers, is missing one eye and is terribly thin.
What other search for a rehabber we have “Hootie” eating every two hours and doing just fine.
