We are all ready for this afternoons BBQ. Jim has had the smoker going all night and just putting the finishing touches on his barbecue sauce. I on the other hand am sitting at my computer playing solitaire and enjoying a cup of coffee. He does all the cooking and I clean up. When we first got married, I made Chili, Jim said it was a “Good Base”. I did not know that Chili was a religion to Texans. Well, my rule is he who criticizes — cooks.
All the animals are clean and fed, the house is clean. I am ready!
