Lily made a home visit

Yesterday one of our “Senior Sitters” wasn’t quite up to visit Bird Tails. So his wife, one of our most loyal and active volunteers, picked up Lily, the cockatoo, for an overnight home visit.
This was her message:

Lily stepped up for Bobby and finally for me. We have been singing and playing flute for her and she is singing.

She understands “no” and has been riding on Bobby’s shoulder and preens his hair and tickles his ears. I think she likes men better, especially old men. ha

But then we haven’t tried to put her back in the cage yet…..
