We have had volunteers here all day helping chop and freeze and whatever else we can think of with the four bushels of produce that was donated today. JIm has been busy pickling okra (for himself and the volunteers) and I am blanching and freezing squash for our hungry birds during the winter. I am exhausted but it sure has been fun and a wonderful Blessing.
This week we had a huge box of nuts donated, now apples, pears, and so much more.

Tomorrow we will be getting some new birds to add to our flock and new volunteers that are bird people!! They are going to help us design our new big bird habitat and help me get donations to build it.
