Jean Gibson He is still recovering and I am going to clip his wings more severely. I bought a tether for him but that was like hugging a porcupine. I hate to keep him in so this is my only option now.

Lynda Perkins You do usually think of Love Birds as pairs, but if you get any kind of bird and want to have him as a pet, just get one. Otherwisethey will be friends with each other and not be interested in you! Also consider getting a baby that has been hand fed. They are more friendly. I got Max when he was 1 month old. He had been hand fed and was very tame the day I got him.

Jean Gibson The primary source of bird to Bird Tails, are birds that have not worked out in their home. We don’t often get the sweet hand raised “pet” bird. This pair of blue crown conures are an example of that. They are talkers and very happy to just have each other.
