Winterizing

It was a great, exhausting weekend but birdlink is ready for the winter. The bird House is ready for birds and people. The gardens are blooming because fall in Texas is a wonderful time. The dogs are full of energy, the llama appears to be pregnant, the birds are almost finished molting and there is a praying mantis on my asparagus plant. The best part is the grass will stop growing and I can stop mowing!!

The “Bird House” will house the big birds that are in cages. I am a firm believer in fresh air, sunshine and plenty of fresh fruit and veggies, so keeping the birds inside will end when spring arrives.

For now the Sanctuary is in bloom and looking it’s best.
