This is a love bird on the left and a sun conure on the right. Two different kind of birds, but now buddies for life. The sun conure, Wookie Woo was born with a deformed spine and hips, generally breeders put such babies down. But Wookie was lucky, he was born to Linda Kelly, a breeder that gives every bird a chance. Yes his spine is still twisted so he has trouble walking, but absolutely none flying. The little love bird was just another unwanted pet. His name is Tarzan. When the two birds were released into the aviary, they became fast friend. Wookie can’t scratch the right side of his face, so Tarzan does it for him. They share food, roosts and my shoulder.
